Manipal International University programs are approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and Ministry of Higher Education.
As Malaysia is part of the Washington Accord and MIU being a Malaysian University, our Engineering programs are recognised by the signatory members of this Accord. Established in 1989, the signatories to this accord as of 2013 are Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, China, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Graduates of accredited programs in any of the signatory countries are recognised by the other signatory countries as certified bona-fide engineers.
The Engineering programs in MIU are also approved by the Engineering Accreditation Council.
Manipal International University is a partnership with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountant). The benefits of having programmes accredited by CIMA are vast, including being benchmarked as a respected institution in Malaysia offering recognized accounting and business programmes.
Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)
CGMA is the most widely held management accounting designation in the world with more than 137,000 designers. It was established in 2012 by the AICPA and CIMA to recognize a unique group of management accountants who have reached the highest benchmark of quality and competence. The CGMA designation is built on extensive global research to maintain the highest relevance with employers and develop the competencies most in demand. CGMA designation holders qualify through rigorous education, exam, and experience requirements.
