Overview

MIU is offering a prestigious Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance (BAAF) is a 3-years programme with 127 credits, trained potential students to become a professional and ethical Accountant or Financial practitioners that can fit and fulfil the requirement of the market. The hard and soft skill embedded in the courses through exceptional exposure to in-depth fundamental and application of accounting and financial management that helps graduates to possess the skill to analyse and advice business leaders to make smart financial decisions.

Eligibility Criteria

ENTRY LEVEL

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS APPROVED BY MOHE

LOCAL STUDENTS: MUET Band 2

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: TOEFL score of 550 OR IELTS score of 5.5 OR its equivalent.

STPM/A-LEVEL

A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two subjects, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level

STAM

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, (good) and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level

UEC

Pass with minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics

MATRICULATION

/ FOUNDATION

Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification;

AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent

DIPLOMA

Pass Diploma in Accounting or relevant field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00;

AND a credit in Maths and pass in English at SPM or its equivalent

OTHERS

Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
