Manipal International University is a constituent unit of – Manipal Education and Medical Group. This group has 6 Universities, 12 campuses and over 400,000 students under its umbrella at this moment. Grown over the past 60 years, the mother campus is located on a picturesque hill top called Manipal in the southern state of India, Karnataka.
The flagship technical institute of this group, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) has produced over tens of thousands of engineers who have achieved success in various industries world-over. Microsoft CEO Mr. Satya Nadella, Nokia CEO Mr. Rajeev Suri, GE South Asia President and CEO Mr. Banmali Agrawala to name a few.
MIT is a knowledge-house where students design and manufacture. The students’ achievements include designing high performance FORMULA car, writing Facebook Application "Autobudder", building low price 3 D printers, etc.
