Orientation for MIU Foundation Programs begins

Students from across Malaysia who enrolled for the various foundation and diploma programs offered by MIU began their orientation session on April 7.It began with a briefing on the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), followed by details about class schedules and clubs and societies on campus.
All programs offered at MIU are MQA approved, a testimony to the quality of education offered.
This was followed by an engaging interactive session with the new Vice-Chancellor, Dr PLNG Rao, which was attended by senior faculty, including Deputy Vice Chancellors and all heads of departments. Warmly welcoming the students, Dr Rao briefly spoke on the Manipal Group and introduced the faculty present, before taking questions from students.
The Foundation in Engineering is the most sought after program in MIU with more than 70% of the total enrolments. The other popular program include Foundation in Science, Foundation in Business Studies and Diploma in Business Administration.
