MIU hosted a buka puasa (known as iftar in Arabic) buffet to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan on Tuesday, August 16. The event was set up by Omar Shariff Mydeen, Vice President of corporate affairs at MIU, and was attended by an international group of staff and faculty.

Dr. Ravindra, Vice Chancellor of MIU, plans to make the event an annual tradition to reach out to the Muslim community.
