Manipal International University (MIU), Nilai had enthusiastically welcomed school counselors and students from Sri Lanka and Maldives on 4^th August 2015. They are representing number of schools from both countries namely St. Joseph’s College, Lyceum International School, Gateway College Rajagiriya, Gateway College Kandy, The British School in Colombo, Asian Internationals School, Stafford  International school, Centre of Higher Secondary Education, Villa International School, to name a few.

The visitors had been briefed on education opportunities and distinguished courses offered in MIU by Dean of School of Science & Engineering: Prof. Ir. Dr Che Nyan Husain ; Head of Biotechnology : Prof. Dr. Arokiaraj Pappusamy and Professor of School of Management & Business : Assoc. Prof. Akbar Ali Mohamed Noordin respectively. During the visit, the current MIU students from both nations grabbed a chance to share their exciting experience and impressive success stories in MIU with the visitors.

In a nutshell, the visit has given a valuable opportunity to the school teachers and students to experience the MIU’s campus life, phenomenal facilities and beautiful landscape. All these students had a remarkable experience during the visit and thus we are very confident that they will return to undertake their undergraduate study in MIU, Nilai.
