Overview

Bachelor Of Mass Communication (Hons.)

Our Bachelor of Mass Communication (Hons.) is an endless possibility of creativity and imagination. In fact, almost every company today requires a mass communication graduate in order to craft and monitor the messages that they communicate to the public. Due to the tailored syllabus of this program, graduates will be in high demand in the industry. Students will be introduced to the fields of mass communication which are broadcasting, publishing, journalism, public relations and advertising.

Eligibility Criteria

ENTRY LEVEL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Require minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS or 500 for TOEFL or its equivalent
STPM/A-LEVEL Pass with minimum of Grade C in 2 subjects;
AND a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
UEC Pass with minimum of Grade B in 5 related subjects
MATRICULATION
/ FOUNDATION
Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or any
equivalent qualification;
AND a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
AUSTRALIAN YEAR
12
Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) 70 and Grade B in relevant subjects
CANADIAN PRE-U Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with an average of 70% in 6 relevant subjects
INTERNATIONAL
BACCALAUREATE
Pass International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points
DIPLOMA Pass Diploma in Media and Communication with minimum CGPA of 2.00; AND a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent
OTHERS Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
