Manipal International University (MIU) has entered several Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to elevate strategic partnerships in the Northern region, focusing on industry-readiness and nurturing graduates from the Engineering & Computing programme.

The first signing was with the Penang Youth Development Council (PYDC), an agency under the Penang State Government with the main objective to collaborate on youth skill and educational enhancement. This collaborative effort will be leveraging on InvestPenang initiative as well as executive training for corporate and E&E plants located in Penang.

The partnership with PYDC paved the path for subsequent MOUs in the region, with both Pentamaster Technology Sdn. Bhd. (Pentamaster) and UWC Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UWC) respectively… a joint effort in bridging innovation and technology.

Pentamaster is an innovative automation manufacturing and technology solutions provider with more than 25-years of experience. The signing with Pentamaster is to promote the industry cadetship programme. Furthermore, the setup of Pentamaster Technology lab at the MIU campus, would bring our graduates to greater heights.

UWC is an integrated engineering support services provider, mainly dealing with the provision of precision sheet metal fabrication, assembly services and the fabrication of precision machined components. The core value of UWC are unity, willpower and commitment and we believe the MOU signing would be another avenue for transformation for our graduates, moving forward in the era of IR 4.0.
